The Right Choice

There are many times when each of us has to choose right from wrong. Lots of opportunities in life to exercise your power of discernment and be on the right path or not.

But, even the best of intentions can still lead to the worst of situations. So, the question is asked, how do you recover from the wrong choice or the horrible case scenario? What and how do you make amends?

My house keeper says it best, "I CUT IT" as she makes a slicing mark in the air with her hand. "Thank you Jesus" she says right after her mark has been made with the emphatic signal. When I watch her, I wonder...Is it really that easy? Should we all be able to simply take our hand and make a zorro mark towards our target and eliminate the wrong doings each of us commit on a daily basis?

Deciding to change doesn't erase the error, but it certainly points the vane arrow in the right direction. So today, as I struggle with good choices and bad...I'm slicing my hand through the open space before me and declaring, "I CUT IT". I am deciding to change, to stand anew and to be what I intend to be.

The right choice is and always will be, quite effectively, unbelievable easy given the fact, that it is the right choice.
